Manual type:

This method is a traditional standard method. There are mainly two types of downstream flow/no top pressure and countercurrent flow. Generally, two carbon steel structure tanks are connected in parallel. According to different technological processes, each tank needs to be equipped with 8-11 tanks. Manual valves (about 16-20 valves are required for two tanks), and a special salt pump is used to pump the dissolved salt solution into the resin tank during regeneration (this equipment used to be the main form of domestic softening water equipment).
The main features of the softening water equipment of this structure are: the process is simple and easy to understand, easy to operate, low cost, and can be applied to the needs of large flow; but the technology is backward, the area is large, the operation consumption is also large, and the actual operation is relatively strong. , the corrosion of the salt pump is heavier and the maintenance cost is high.

Combined automatic type:

Because the use of manual equipment is too complicated, a new type of equipment with a combined integrated valve as the core appeared in the early 1990s. The main core component of this equipment is a multi-channel integrated valve, which changes the direction of water flow through the rotation of the valve body. Compared with traditional manual equipment, this equipment occupies a much smaller area and has a high degree of automation. However, because the control method adopts time control, the control precision during operation is low. Due to the limitation of design ideas, processing technology and materials, the flat integrated valve used in most equipments is easy to wear and tear, and the possibility of repair after wear is very small. At present, there are many manufacturers of this kind of equipment in the domestic market, and the actual quality of the products varies greatly, and the operation effect of many equipment is not satisfactory.

Fully automatic type:

With the development of industrial technology, multi-way valves and integrated valves that are different from domestic multi-way valves have been gradually developed, mainly multi-way valves, and the main materials are engineering plastics and lead-free brass.
Its core component is a multi-channel integrated valve. Generally, a valve plate or a piston is used to control the direction of water flow, and a small motor drives the camshaft (or piston) to act. Due to the relatively good development of foreign industrial technology, this type of equipment has been developed quite well. The product specifications range from 0.2t/h for domestic use to about 70t/h for industrial use, and the controller has a high degree of automation (the latest can computer or general monitoring computer communication).

Discrete valve automatic type:

Discrete valves generally use imported fully automatic diaphragm valves or solenoid valves, adopting a structure similar to the traditional manual method, and cooperating with a dedicated fully automatic controller (MCU or PLC) to form a softening water equipment.
Fully automatic equipment is mainly used in occasions with large flow, and can also be used for the transformation of traditional manual equipment. It can transform traditional manual equipment into automatic equipment without changing the original equipment pipeline. Thereby reducing the labor intensity of operation and reducing equipment consumption.
