1. Brief introduction of Disk Filter water treatment
Disk Filter water treatment, the core technology is the mechanism of disc filtration, which realizes both the surface filtration and deep filtration by compressed plastic discs with grooves. The technical process of filtration, automatic switch of backwash, circulation is artfully achieved by the filtration device.
It adopt modular design, therefore, can be used as different configuration by filtration unit com pages. Backwash controller is easy to operate. Users can conveniently overall the filter or working station by setting pressure difference or time or combination of both. There is no need to replace the filter disk as its lifetime can reach 10 years.
2. Working condition of Disk Filter water treatment
During the filtration, the disks are compressed by the spring and water power. When the water flow with impurities goes through, the big particles and coarse fiber are blocked, which is called surface filtration. The small particles and fiber goes through the grooves into the inner part of disks. Since the groove size becomes smaller and smaller at the inner part, the small particles and fiber are blocked in the grooves, which is called deep filtration.

4. Other components
1)Automatic controller: PLC controller, automatic backwash according to time or pressure difference. It can also be backwashed manually.
2)Backwash valve: two-position, three-way diaphragm valve to switch the water flow direction. The automatic switch of the valve position is realized by hydraulic pressure control signal.
3)Differential pressure gauge: display the status of the filtration head, judge if the filtration head need cleaning.
